Your ledger stays here.

A plain-language account of local data and this website.

No account. No central ledger.

This version uses no backend or database and requires no account. The application does not upload calculator entries, optional income, course progress, quiz responses, or certificate names. It has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, newsletter provider, or payment processing.

What this browser remembers.

The site uses localStorage to retain calculator entries and optional income, plus modules visited and completed, quiz responses, completion date, and locally generated certificate details. A certificate display name is optional. Fonts and site assets are served with the application; the site does not load remote font services.

Local storage is tied to this browser profile and website address. Another device or browser does not have the same record. Clearing site storage may remove progress, calculator entries, and the certificate. Private-browsing sessions may discard them when closed.

Control and removal.

Use “Clear All” in the calculator to remove its saved entries and income. Remove an optional certificate name by clearing that field. To remove all site data, use your browser’s site-data settings for this address. This also resets course progress.

A notice appears when a save fails. Keep the current page open to retain unsaved changes. If this browser contains a record from a newer version of the site, this version leaves it unchanged. Save or print a certificate before clearing storage if you want to keep it.

Sharing is your action.

Share controls use your browser’s share sheet when supported, or copy text to the clipboard. If neither is available, the text is shown for manual copying. Nothing is automatically posted.

Calculator share text includes only the aggregate annual total and item count. It excludes expense names, categories, and income. Certificate share text excludes your display name and credential ID. Printing the certificate includes the display name you selected.

Practical limits.

Local storage is not an encrypted vault. Someone with access to the same browser profile may be able to see saved data. Browser extensions and device access are outside this application’s control.

When hosted, ordinary website requests reach the hosting provider, which may process connection information such as IP addresses and server logs under its own policies. The app’s local-only handling of financial entries does not mean that visiting a website creates no network traffic.

This V1 application does not use advertising cookies. Revisit this policy if later versions add online services.
